At The Village, your well-being is paramount. That's why we've included EMSAcare in your standard Village trash bill. No additional steps are needed – you're automatically enrolled. EMSAcare covers out-of-pocket expenses for emergency ambulance rides, and it applies to all permanent household members, whether you're related or not, even if they lack medical insurance.
What is EMSAcare?
EMSAcare, provided by EMSA, goes beyond typical coverage. It's designed to cover costs that Medicare, Medicaid, and most insurance companies assign to their members, such as co-payments and deductibles. It offers comprehensive coverage for peace of mind.
Benefits of EMSAcare
As a Village resident, you're automatically enrolled in EMSAcare, included in your regular trash bill at just $5.50 every other month. EMSAcare ensures:
- No co-payments or deductibles for emergency ambulance services.
- No co-payments or deductibles for approved non-emergency ambulance transports.
- A 40% cost-reduction on uncovered non-emergency transports.
What's Not Covered
EMSAcare doesn't cover pre-scheduled non-emergency transports to and from healthcare facilities. Non-emergency transports are covered only if insurance or third-party coverage plays a part, with a 40% discount if uncovered
